Nancy Hungate
Nancy Hungate was born c1802 in Virginia. She married
Isiah Sumner on June 7, 1821 in Montgomery County, VA.
They had the following

Wyatt
Nancy Hungate was the daughter of William Hungate. Tradition says that she was captured by
Indians (if true, probably Cherokee).
Nancy Hungate Sumner died in February, 1870 and is buried in Alum Ridge, Floyd County, VA.
